The Hague, Netherlands – Burlington MA, January 10, 2022 – Cassini, a pioneer in refractive cataract surgery solutions and advanced corneal diagnostics announced today that it has appointed Mark Maire as Chief Executive Officer of Cassini Technologies B.V.
Mark brings a distinguished track record in ophthalmology leadership, commercial success and innovation. He was a driving force behind TrueVision Systems’ innovation including 3D visualization, surgical guidance and connected OR solutions. As Chief Revenue Officer, Mark developed TrueVision’s partner strategy with Alcon (ophthalmology) and Aesculap (neurosurgery/spine) as key strategic partners, which resulted in ultimately selling the ophthalmology assets to Alcon. Following the sale, Mark worked for Alcon as a National Surgical Consultant in 3D visualization and microscopy. He successfully leverages his clinical knowledge as well as extensive KOL network for commercial success, business development and M&A.
