The Hague, Netherlands – Burlington MA, October 25th 2023 – CASSINI®, a leading innovator in ophthalmology, announced today that it has obtained approval to market all devices[1] that make up Cassini Connect in Canada – marking another significant step forward in Cassini’s mission to improve patient outcomes in ophthalmology through new, innovative technologies.
Cassini Connect is a digital cataract surgery suite designed to improve patient outcomes of all ophthalmic surgeons, independent from the set-up in the operating room. Cassini Connect is interoperable with all leading microscopes, making it a cost-effective solution without having to change existing workflows. The suite also significantly reduces manual marking, improving workflow efficiency.
The market introduction of Cassini Connect is a solution available to all surgeons and patients – creating an inclusive, efficient and safe environment.
