Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Independent Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales within the cataract market. As an Independent Sales Representative, reporting into the Commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets in your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage the complete sales cycle from lead creation, lead qualification, technical sales to successful deal closing.
  • Manage and maintain accounts post-sales in a pro-active manner.
  • Establish and manage contacts with key opinion leaders, decision-makers and influencers in the field of cataract surgery.
  • Build, expand and manage customer relations with the various stakeholders involved in the sales process.
  • Focus on expansion activities to achieve solid growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to Commercial team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Sale & Marketing / Business / Optometry / Ophthalmic Technician.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the ophthalmic industry, with a focus on cataract products preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned regions as needed.
